Q&A
Q: What is needed to connect this microphone to my device?
A: You can connect it via:
- A stereo XLR audio interface, or
- A 3.5mm (1/8") TRS stereo input (compatible with most cameras and computers). For 6.35mm (1/4") or RCA, use the appropriate splitter cables (not included).
Q: What manufacturing technology is used?
A: 3D printing is used to create the microphone body. The unique tuned structure of the body would not be possible to create with traditional manufacturing methods.
Q: What is "Line Level" output?
A: The microphone contains an internal amplifier that boosts the output level from low Microphone levels to the higher Line levels. Mic Level industry standard is -60 to -40dBu while Line Level is +4dBu.
Q: What inputs should I use on my devices?
A: It's recommended to use XLR(Line level) or instrument(keyboard, etc.) on an audio mixer. For direct connection to a desktop or laptop computer connect directly to the computer's compatible microphone input. For computers, please check the documentation to see if it supports stereo input.
